		<description>I don&#039;t like thimbles either. I use a Thimble-It (by Colonial Needle Company), which is a self adhesive oval of plastic that you stick on your finger. It won&#039;t protect as well as a metal or leather thimble, but it does add a layer of protection to help prevent the holes in your fingers.</description>

		<description>Yes, but I used to hand quilt.... I LOVE the roxanne thimbles... but they are on the expensive side... or they used to be.... but worth it when you don&#039;t leave DNA behind on the quilt ;-)</description>

I just wear a hole in my finger.

Apparently it&#039;s been awhile since I&#039;ve done any seriously hand-sewing (i.e. binding...) because my finger is currently completely whole and lacking in holes.  LOL
